Join TMF and local vounteers as we support a community partner!  

Hilltop Urban Farm (HUF) is a non-profit, community-centered farm in Pittsburgh’s Hilltop community, dedicated to producing locally grown crops, providing agriculture-based education, generating entrepreneurial opportunities, and strengthening the Hilltop communities.

Our goal for the day is to support in a vareity of activities: pick up rocks and weeds, water orchards, help maintain the Community Farm, harvest produce, and conduct general grounds maintenance.

Please adhere to the following:

• Dress for the weather. Sunscreen/hats/raincoats encouraged. 
• Closed-toe shoes are a must and long pants are strongly recommended. 
• August is extremely hot in Pittsburgh, so dressing in layers is best. 
• All work gloves, equipment and staff support are provided as well as snacks and drinks. 
• *Please bring a personal water bottle to refill from larger jugs.*

This project will honor the life and legacy of LT (EOD) Christopher Mosko, USN.
