2019 Operation Legacy - Fall
Event Recap
Throughout the month of November, TMF Spartans organized, led, and participated in 95 community service projects nationwide in honor of fallen heroes as part of Operation Legacy. United in selfless service, veterans, military service members, surviving families, youth, and inspired civilians found their “If Not Me, Then Who…” moments while addressing their communities’ critical needs.
In total, 3,000 Spartans participated in Operation Legacy projects in Fall 2019. Bronwyn De Maso of Pottstown, PA led a cemetery clean-up project in her hometown in honor of her brother, Commander Job Wilson Price. In Southern California, Spartans provided meals and supplies for those experiencing homelessness in honor of fallen hero, Lance Corporal Thomas J. Zapp, USMC. In Point Breeze in South Philadelphia, the legacy of Dr. John Pryor, MD, a Penn Trauma Surgeon, was honored by a huge team that cleaned up the neighborhood parks and surrounding streets and alleyways.
