To maintain the beauty of Arlington National Cemetery and ensure the tokens placed during The Honor Project are handled with continued care and respect, the Travis Manion Foundation is mobilizing volunteers to assist in their retrieval.
Volunteers will begin the day at 9:00 AM at the corner of York & Halsey, near Section 60. Once that area is complete, we will gradually spread throughout the cemetery to collect the remaining tokens. An email will be sent midday with an update on how far we've progressed in retrieving tokens.
Tokens will be collected in plastic bins and carts, which will be available on-site. Water and snacks will be provided to keep you fueled throughout the day, and as a thank you for your service, the team will head out to lunch together afterward.
Please wear appropriate clothing and footwear, and be prepared for the elements - this is a rain or shine event. Volunteers are welcome to stay as long or as short as they are able.
Parking is available next to the Visitors Center, and ANC Passholders are welcome to drive to the rally point.
Thank you for honoring the fallen through this meaningful act of remembrance.
