Dante Lewis grew up in the Chicago community where he struggled just to survive every day. He had to travel back and forth wondering who would try to rob him, murder him, or hurt him in anyway. He managed to survive these brutal streets by graduating high school and then by joining the United States Navy. Young men in our community started believing in themselves after seeing Dante change his life. They didn't have to be gangsters, drug dealers or "thugs", they could be honorable men and women. Dante had something to do with that.
