LOVE OF LEARNING

DJ was a loving father, husband and enjoyed his work with the US Navy. He lived in Bronx, NY then joined the Navy because he wanted to travel the world on a carrier. He had a wonderful naval career as a MA. DJ, cared deeply about the education of his kids, he frequently would take them to libraries including Little Free Libraries around their neighborhood. He and his children would take turns reading to each other. He suddenly passed away four months after retirement at home.
