Ken was born and raised in Chatham, MA.  He joined the Navy in January 2007 following earning BA in Business and Economics.  Ken LOVED being a Navy Diver. He grew up as a talented soccer player and loved group sports. Which is one of the reasons why he fit in so great with his fellow Sailor's.  He was also an avid diver and sky diver, often making several jumps in a day.  He and his family were looking forward to transferring to a slower paced command and getting married.  Ken had a natural zest for life and always cared about those closest to him- a trait his son son has certainly gained from him.  On October 12, 2009, Ken passed away doing what he loved.  His last views were of the beautiful island of Oahu over the beautiful water that was as blue as his eyes.  He was just 27.
