Kendell was born on the beautiful Island of Trinidad. Joined the ROTC program at our local high school, and decided to enlist in the Army during his last year of high school. After being deployed to Iraq Kendell wanted to become a citizen of the country for which he was willing to give his life for.

While Kendell was fighting in Iraq his mom was in the US fighting for his citizenship application to be processed. To make a long story short Kendell was killed on his way to be fingerprinted for his citizenship application. His family continued pursuing the US government for a change in this policy. In June 2008 the Kendell Frederick Citizenship Assistant Act was signed into law by President George Bush. This Law will enable all immigrants serving in the Armed Forces a fast track to citizenship, and most importantly the fingerprints used on their enlistment application will also be used for the citizenship application. Kendell was a very caring and loving individual. Always had a smile on his face and the life of the party. A practical joker who would always find a way to make you laugh when u are down.
