Jonathan was born and raised in Scottsboro, AL. He enlisted in the army shortly after graduating from high school. After basic training, he as assigned to an EOD unit as a clerk, that was when he decided to change his MOS to go to EOD School in southern Maryland. Jon was an EOD tech for 23 years and served in many different locations all over the world. He received many different commendations. - submitted by family
