Andrew was a SFC in US Army. He passed away from lung cancer in 2014. Andrew was active duty for 16 year and 4 months. He had a break in service where he worked for various non-profits as well as the UN. He met his wife during a mission to her native country of Kosovo. Andrew re-enlisted after 9/11 and deployed to Afghanistan where he was awarded a medal for valor. Andrew was a great man, father and husband. He was proud to serve. - submitted by family
