Lawrance J. Carter was a son, a brother and a friend, who gave his life in service of his country. He came from a military family and followed in the footsteps of previous family members. When he joined the Army, he gave his whole heart and soul into being the best that he could be.

Bravery - Lawrance demonstrated bravery on the day that he died. He actually volunteered to go on the mission that would ultimately become his last.
