Searching for direction in life, SN Joshua Nater joined the Navy after graduating high school.  While on active duty, Joshua was involved in a vehicle accident in Bethesda, MD, and was tragically killed. 

Character Strength Story Submitted by Joe, Joshua's Father: "Joshua joined the Navy not knowing what life will hold in the future, but he wanted to be part of a team. In his mind there was no better way to succeed than being in the military and serving as a Hospital Navy Corpsman. He had a great heart and would never hesitate to help others when they were in need. He would be the first to open doors if someone needed assistance, that's just the kind of guy Joshua was."
