Chad was born on Nov 9th 1988. He was always that kid that made everyone laugh. He never had a bad word to say about anyone. He joined the military in his junior year of high school. The following summer, he completed basic training before his senior year of high school. After graduating high school in 2008 at the age of 19, Chad went to AIT (Advanced Individual Training) for infantry training. When he completed AIT and pre-deployment training, Chad left for Iraq in January of 2009. He was killed on May 27th 2009 while on foot patrol in Baghdad.

“Chad loved life. He always had a smile on his face. We started a foundation in his name and all proceeds we make goes to help other military families in our area. My son will never be forgotten” – Karen Cornell, Chad’s mom – submitted by family
