David was born on July 23,1978 in Tehran, Iran to parents David and Judi Swenson. After leaving the Middle East, David moved with his parents to Humble, TX in 1985. After completing high school, David enlisted in the National Guard in 1996 and enlisted in the U.S. Army in 2002. David was currently on his second enlistment and was stationed at Fort Hood, TX. David has proudly served in Operation Iraqi Freedom with Task Force Iron Horse from March 2003 to March 2004. He received several commendations for his service there. His unit was preparing for redeployment to Iraq in November 2005. – Houston Chronicle
