TOP CHARACTER STRENGTHS

HUMILITY - KINDNESS - PERSEVERANCE

Reid was born January 14, 2005. He touched so many people in his 20 years on Earth. He grew up with an older and younger brother, which helped shape the man he became. He learned early in life that he wasn’t here just for himself but to lend his hand to others as he often did with his brothers. There wasn’t a person Reid wouldn’t help. Small task or large, it didn’t matter to Reid. He was there.

Reid’s ability to make someone feel loved, special, and included was evident by the endless people who reached out to share stories about how he was there for them.

Reid had a laugh like no other. Just hearing him would make others laugh.

Reid danced through life—literally! The best part was he didn’t care who saw or what others thought. He danced, laughed, and lived life like there was no tomorrow.

When he joined the Army in 2023, he brought all of these wonderful qualities with him. He took his love of guns and perfected his marksmanship. He used his desire to help others by becoming a mentor to newly enlisted soldiers.

His life didn’t end because he lives on with his brothers, his parents, and his friends. We all try to live like Reid. Live now, dance when no one’s looking, and help others.
