Zandra Walker was a young woman from Greenville, S.C., who loved every moment of life. She was a best friend to all who knew her. She was a daughter, a twin sister, a wife, and she was a soldier. After completing her first enlistment in 2004, she reenlisted in 2005 because she missed serving her country and being in the environment she grew to love so dearly.

LOVE Because she came from a family that was full of love and a close knit community, she always wanted to make sure people she encountered felt that way as well.

BRAVERY She was fearless and never backed down from a challenge. Probably the only thing that made her nervous was spiders. She stood out as a soldier, always accepting her responsibility to serve others well.

HUMOR She was always joking and smiling and was never one to look at the downside of things. She was full of joy and would always tell jokes to brighten your day.
