Travis Manion Foundation Announces the 18th Annual 9/11 Heroes Run Series Presented by USAA

Travis Manion Foundation's 18th Annual 9/11 Heroes Run series, presented by USAA, will return this fall to more than 90 communities around the world. The event is a promise to never forget the tragic events of September 11, 2001, and honors the courage, sacrifices, and stories of the heroes of 9/11 and those who served in the wars that followed.

Registration is now open for the 2025 9/11 Heroes Run series. Participants will run, walk, or ruck to preserve the legacy of our nation’s heroes by ensuring the next generation understands what it means to live with courage, character, and commitment. These runs bring together thousands of Americans. Whether they attend an in-person race or join virtually from anywhere in the world, all are part of a movement that unites communities through shared purpose and patriotism.

“Each year, the 9/11 Heroes Run serves as a powerful reminder of the courage and sacrifice shown on September 11th and in the years that followed,” said Ryan Manion, CEO of Travis Manion Foundation. “As we enter the 2025 season, I’m humbled by how this movement continues to grow—bringing communities together across the country to honor our nation’s heroes. From first responders to military service members like my brother, Travis Manion, their legacies live on through the actions of the volunteers and participants who show up year after year to ensure we never forget.”

USAA is returning for the fourth consecutive year as the National Presenting Sponsor of the 2025 9/11 Heroes Run season. USAA’s steadfast commitment to supporting veterans, first responders, and their families aligns with TMF’s mission to empower those who serve and strengthen the communities they lead.

This year’s exclusive 2025 race shirt has been unveiled—featuring a bold design that symbolizes unity, remembrance, and resilience. Each shirt represents not only participation in the event but a shared belief in service, sacrifice, and community. Every registered participant will receive a 2025 race shirt, and ruckers will also receive the 2025 patch.

Proceeds from each race are invested directly back into the communities where the runs take place, supporting TMF programs that impact military families, veterans, and first responders. Each registration fuels mentorship, mental health support, and personal development programs that create lasting change.
