Travis Manion Foundation Honors USAA with its 2022 Community Leadership Award
December 8, 2022 (PHILADELPHIA, PA) — Travis Manion Foundation (TMF), one of the nation’s leading nonprofit veteran service organizations, announced today that USAA is receiving the organization’s 2022 Community Leadership Award. USAA president and chief executive officer, Wayne Peacock, will accept the award at TMF’s 11th annual “If Not Me, Then Who…” Gala on Thursday, Dec. 8, 2022 in Philadelphia.

Under Peacock’s leadership, USAA has demonstrated its deep commitment to the TMF’s mission by sponsoring the organization’s Expeditions program. TMF Expeditions provide military families of the fallen an opportunity to participate in a week-long service expedition to a community in need where they create long-lasting impact, carry on their loved one’s legacy of service, and build their own path forward. USAA also serves as the national title sponsor of the TMF’s annual 9/11 Heroes Run race series, which includes more than 90 communities and 60,000 participants across the country.
