Travis Manion Foundation Partners with Joggin' for Frogmen to Honor Naval Special Warfare Service Members and Veterans

DOYLESTOWN, PA- Travis Manion Foundation (TMF) is honored to announce our partnership with the Joggin’ for Frogmen (JFF) Race Series. Inspired by US Navy SEALs (Frogmen), the mission of the JFF Race Series is to activate communities from around the world to honor the sacrifices of Naval Special Warfare service members and veterans and to support their families.

Joggin’ for Frogmen began as a way to honor the 31 heroes lost on EXTORTION 17 on August 6, 2011. JFF started as a single 3.1 mile race in San Diego, and has expanded across the globe hosting thousands of participants. Each year, they encourage communities across the country to celebrate the lives of America’s fallen heroes and express deep gratitude to those still serving.

On August 6, 2021, we invite you to join us and honor those 31 heroes and their families for the 10th anniversary of that day. JFF will be hosting the EXTORTION 17 Memorial Virtual Event where you can participate wherever you are. All proceeds from the JFF race series supports Travis Manion Foundation’s mission to empower veterans and families of the fallen to develop character in future generations.

Registration is currently available for the virtual event, and all participants who register before July 19th are guaranteed to receive their JFF swag by race day. Registration is available for four different categories, varying from a $30 or $35 registration fee. These categories are all virtual and include a 3.1 mile run/walk, 3.1 mile ruck, 31 mile run/walk, and a 31 mile ruck. Fundraisers will receive fun prizes and all proceeds benefit TMF. About Travis Manion Foundation

Travis Manion Foundation (TMF) unites communities to strengthen America's national character by empowering veterans and families of fallen heroes to develop and lead future generations. In 2007, 1stLt Travis Manion (USMC) was killed in Iraq while saving his wounded teammates. Today, Travis' legacy lives on in the words he spoke before leaving for his final deployment, "If Not Me, Then Who..." Guided by this mantra, veterans continue their service, develop strong relationships with their communities, and thrive in their post-military lives by serving as character role models to youth. As a result, communities prosper and the character of our nation’s heroes lives on in the next generation.

The story of 1stLt Travis Manion and his Naval Academy brother LT(SEAL) Brendan Looney have been publicized in the book Brothers Forever, and additional information about the Foundation can be found at www.travismanion.org.
