Philadelphia, PA - Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (‘BKFC’), the world’s fastest-growing sport, has formed a partnership with one of the nation’s leading veteran serving organizations, Travis Manion Foundation (TMF), as a way to give back to the veteran and first responder communities.

The first event under this partnership, BKFC-12, set for Friday, September 11 at the Ocean Center in Daytona Beach, FL will serve as a tribute on the 19th anniversary of the September 11 terrorist attacks with a commemoration of military, veterans, police, firefighters, first responders and the families of our fallen heroes throughout the evening. Fans can now download the BKFC app here to watch new bouts and content each month, with a portion of the proceeds benefitting TMF programs in support of veterans and families of the fallen. More information on this event can be found at https://referral.bareknuckle.tv/tmf.

The stacked ten-bout BKFC-12 event is headlined by a tremendous 175lb. clash between former UFC Welterweight Title Challenger Thiago ‘Pitbull’ Alves and fellow UFC veteran Phil Baroni. In the co-main event, former Bellator Middleweight Champion Hector Lombard returns to the squared circle to battle The Ultimate Fighter 3 Champion, Kendall Grove. Also featured on the card is a 185lb. fight between Lorenzo Hunt and Erick Lozano.

“It’s an honor to announce this partnership with the Travis Manion Foundation,” said BKFC President Dave Feldman. “I’ve long admired their work and look forward to working with their team extensively in the future. We’re very pleased to have our newest signing, Paige VanZant joining us on this momentous occasion.”

“It is an honor to partner with BKFC, and to be part of their tribute for the 19th anniversary of 9/11," said TMF President Ryan Manion. “To reignite the spirit of unity seen in the days immediately following the September 11th attacks, BKFC and their fans across the country will help us honor the fallen, pay tribute to our veterans, and give recognition to our first responders and front-line workers who continue to step forward during another challenging time in our nation’s history.”
