ABOUT MASS DEPLOYMENT
After nearly a decade of successful Mass Deployment events in cities including Detroit, Atlanta, Los Angeles, Baltimore, Houston, and Chicago, Mass Deployment will continue through Travis Manion Foundation (TMF) for its 10th year. Veterans, families of the fallen, and inspired civilian volunteers will converge on Philadelphia in June 2026 to execute high-impact projects throughout the city—bringing community members together to serve and create impact. This multi-day service event will mobilize more than 300 volunteers in honor of America’s 250th anniversary celebration.

2026 MASS DEPLOYMENT DETAILS
Mass Deployment will take place June 7-11 in Philadelphia, PA, with service projects on June 8, 9 and 10.
Volunteers local to the Philadelphia area may apply for selection or register to participate in individual project days as part of Mass Deployment. Registration for individual service days will be limited.
WHY PHILADELPHIA?
TMF’s namesake, 1stLt Travis Manion, USMC, called Philadelphia home for much of his life, and it’s where the movement he created with five simple words was born: “If Not Me, Then Who...”
With service projects based in Old City, Mass Deployment will play a role in celebrating the 250th anniversary of our nation’s founding in its historic birthplace. Over the course of three days, volunteers will work to beautify and revitalize parks and community spaces in the City of Brotherly Love.

At this time, volunteers traveling from outside the Philadelphia area have already been selected through an application process that prioritized experienced leaders. This includes TMF Chapter and Service Platoon leaders, as well as Operation Legacy Service Project leaders, who were thoughtfully chosen to help guide and support projects on the ground throughout Mass Deployment.

How strenuous will the service projects be?
Philadelphia in June can be hot! We will have hydration stations and shaded areas available to keep participants cool. Expect long days as we work hard to support our community partners, though we’ll make sure the hard work is rewarding and enjoyable! Project tasks vary, and we will make reasonable accommodations so that volunteers with limited mobility or other limitations can participate fully.
