What will your legacy be?
JOIN TMF VOLUNTEERS AT OPERATION LEGACY SERVICE PROJECTS NATIONWIDE
Operation Legacy service projects are carried out by TMF Chapters and Service Platoons, alongside dedicated Spartans nationwide—veterans, families of the fallen, and inspired civilians. These volunteer-led efforts honor fallen heroes by addressing key needs in communities across the country, year-round. TMF mobilizes volunteers through six focused initiatives annually that generate approximately 60,000 service hours—representing a value of more than $2 million to communities.
FOCUSED SERVICE EVENTS THROUGHOUT THE YEAR
Although Operation Legacy service projects are hosted throughout the year, TMF Chapters, Service Platoons, schools, and Spartan volunteers focus their efforts around six national periods of observance:
- January: MLK Service Projects
- April: Earth Month Service Projects
- May: The Honor Project
- August: Back to School Character Days
- September: 9/11 Heroes Run and 9/11 Service Projects
- November: Veterans Day Service Projects
These projects create meaningful volunteer opportunities for veterans, families of fallen heroes, and civilians alike.
